PROFILE

ArchitectResearcherTechnologist

I design buildings, but I also design the systems around them.

I’m Darius Chen, an Architecture and Sustainable Design student at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), based in Singapore.

My work usually starts with a simple question: How do we make complex projects easier to understand, coordinate, and improve, without flattening what makes them human?

Education

Currently pursuing M.Arch at SUTD (Singapore University of Technology and Design).

Focusing on Data-Driven Design and Ecological Urbanism.

"The tool shapes the hand, the hand shapes the building."

Core Themes

Readability

Clear diagrams, legible drawings. Complexity is fine, confusion is not.

Busywork Removal

Automation protects attention for what matters: judgment and craft.

Long Collaboration

Architecture is a chain of decisions across teams and time.

Ready to collaborate?

Always interested in projects that need structural clarity and technical momentum.
